               The Office Of Joint Director Of Technical Education Aurangabad is one of the Regional Office of the Directorate Of Technical Education Maharashtra State.
                The office has overall control on academic & administrate activities of GOVT/Aided/Unaided Degree & Diploma institutes in the region to facilitate the students ,parent ,staff & society & provide quality education in the region The all India council for technical education (AICTE) got the statutory power by AICTE act_1987 to control the technical education in the country. as a result of this act ,Engineering,Pharmacy,architecture & Management education (Diploma/Graduate/post Graduate) became the part of technical education. In 1983 the Government of Maharashtra granted the permission for establishment of private Unaided technical institute in the state. Also under the world bank Assistance subject (since 1992) various academic & infrastructural & service rendering activities standard in the region. As a result of term ,the office of Joint Director of technical Education were established at Aurangabad,Mumbai,Pune,Nashik,Amravati & Nagpur.
